We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Security Manager to join our team at one of our locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and security procedures, including fire safety and employee protection.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Security Manager will assist the Security Manager in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the hotel's safety and security procedures.
This includes:
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents;
- Conducting regular risk assessments;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
The successful candidate will also provide training to staff on safety and security procedures and promote a culture of awareness throughout the hotel.
Key RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security and a minimum of 2 years' work experience as an Assistant Security Manager or Senior Security Officer in a larger operation.
They will also possess good practical, operational and administrative skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety and security protocols and procedures;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information;
