Compensation Strategist

The Compensation and Benefits Manager plays a vital role in overseeing payroll, benefits administration, workforce budgeting, and HR operational services. This position ensures compliance with labor laws and internal policies, enhancing compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent while improving operational efficiency.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies, including medical insurance, social security, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational needs.
- Analyze workforce costs, track payroll expenses, and collaborate with finance to optimize budget utilization.
- Lead the annual workforce budgeting process, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic goals.
- Oversight of payroll processing to ensure 100% accuracy and timely salary payments, including overtime, allowances, and deductions, ensuring payroll compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee HR documentation processes, ensuring accurate archiving of personnel records, contracts, and compliance documents.
- Review and approve payroll reconciliations and coordinate with the finance department for bank transfers.
- Manage and resolve payroll-related escalations, such as discrepancies and employee compensation concerns.
- Supervise HR operational services, including leave management, salary advances, business travel, and policy implementation.
- Ensure effective employee support for inquiries related to payroll, compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
- Oversight of HR documentation and record-keeping, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.
- Manage and optimize the HRMS system to ensure accurate payroll, benefits administration, and HR data processing.
- Analyze HR data and generate reports on payroll, benefits utilization, workforce budgeting, and HR performance metrics.
- Develop dashboards and insights for leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct periodic audits to maintain payroll accuracy, benefits compliance, and HR data integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in compensation and benefits management and 3 years in managerial-level positions.
- Strong proficiency in payroll systems, HRIS (preferably MenaITech), labor law knowledge, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Payroll accuracy rate (100% compliance with payroll schedules).
- Cost efficiency in manpower budgeting and benefits optimization.
- HR compliance audit score (minimizing policy violations).
- Efficiency in HR systems utilization and data accuracy.
