Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a finger on the pulse of the fast-paced event industry, with experience in conference production and excellent communication skills. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing speakers, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conference Program Development: Design and produce high-quality conference programs that cater to the needs of industry professionals and thought leaders.
  2. Speaker Management: Engage with recommended speakers, confirm their attendance, and ensure they are prepared for the event.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Manage speaker databases, coordinate travel arrangements, and oversee event setup and teardown.
  4. Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative briefs, prepare sales materials, and assist in lead generation.
  5. Sales Support: Provide input on sponsorship opportunities, attend sales meetings, and help generate revenue growth.
  6. Post-Event Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of event performance, including job title analysis and feedback collection.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Develop new conference ideas and program content through research and collaboration with industry experts.
  • Maintain relationships with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates to ensure exceptional customer service and maximize event ROI.
  • Assist with onsite duties as required, which may involve longer working hours.
Requirements:
  1. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in conference production.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  5. Research-based role with brand awareness and market understanding.
