As a key member of our QHSE department, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential hazards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety excellence throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
3. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, performing root cause analyses and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety excellence and develop training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
5. Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including audit reports, inspection records, and incident reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety engineering or similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or QHSE environment.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and risk assessment practices.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- Proficiency in safety management systems and incident investigation techniques.
