About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Quality Control Manager to take on a challenging role overseeing the quality standards of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of QC inspectors and engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of quality control processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, production, and procurement teams, to ensure that quality control processes align with project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address non-conformance issues, developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in production and testing processes.
  • Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and recommendations for action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with certification in Quality Control or Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
  • At least 8+ years of experience in quality control or mechanical engineering, with a focus on quality assurance in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Proven track record of success in quality control management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management software and MS Office Suite, with experience with CAD and engineering software being a plus.
