Job Summary:
Administer basic and advanced life support care to sick and injured persons in pre-Hospital and in-Hospital settings. Ensure high levels of job satisfaction, quality work performance, internal quality indicators, and processes to deliver efficient patient services.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate each call situation to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol based on patient needs.
- Maintain the unit's general condition, ensuring it remains clean and stocked for optimal call response.
- Document activities to ensure accurate information is available regarding each call.
- Provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
- Maintain readiness for responses consistent with the ambulance services' response criteria.
- Serve as a team leader and assume responsibility for scene management as needed.
- Fulfill trainer or preceptor roles, as necessary.
- Adhere to current certifications and pursue self- and other-education, training, and development opportunities.
- Follow hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Emergency Health Services or a related field is required.
Experience Requirements:
Two (2) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree are required for Grade 08.
Four (4) years as an Emergency Medical Technologist-Paramedic at the hospital, or equivalent experience in Emergency Medical Services or related fields (Grade 08), are required for Grade 09.
The following qualifications are mandatory: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and PHTLS.
Other Requirements:
- Current registration from the country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
- Relevant educational and project management experience is necessary.
