Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing pavement structures using engineering software and principles to analyze their strength, stability, and performance.
  • Selecting appropriate materials for pavement construction or rehabilitation, including asphalt, concrete, aggregates, and other additives.
  • Developing maintenance plans and strategies to prolong the lifespan of pavements, assessing existing pavements for repairs, rehabilitation, or reconstruction, and recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Preparing technical reports, project documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to stakeholders, clients, or regulatory authorities.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state regulations, codes, and standards related to pavement design, construction, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of pavement design and analysis principles and practices.
  • Experience with engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
