The Privatization and Financial Sustainability Officer will play a critical role in our organization, working closely with government bodies and private companies to develop and implement privatization strategies. This includes leading the development of financial plans, monitoring performance indicators, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans for privatized institutions, considering factors such as cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with government bodies, private companies, and consultants to achieve privatization goals.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports for senior management, providing insights into key metrics and trends.
  • Contribute to the development of national strategies and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with privatization processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Masters or bachelors degree in accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience for bachelor's holders, 3 years for master's holders, in managing privatization and financial sustainability programs.
  • Strong analytical, strategic decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of privatization processes and financial management practices, including budgeting and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government entities or public sector projects, with a strong understanding of their specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Saudi privatization laws and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Strong understanding of advanced financial and management concepts in privatization, including risk management and return on investment analysis.
