We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Design & Engineering Lead to join our Global Sustainable Design team at Amazon.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in architecture and have a proven ability to establish new systems and processes, work in a start-up environment, and navigate matrix structures. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical decision-making abilities, and the capacity to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

This role involves engagement with design engineers, project managers, operations teams, safety specialists, maintenance personnel, and other internal stakeholders to deliver strategic and tactical objectives.

Key responsibilities include designing and upholding building design standards through a process-oriented approach, working on warehouse and logistics designs from site masterplanning to developing services and interior details, partnering with the Real Estate team, and collaborating with internal and external teams to bring in the right design standards.
