About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Network Operation Center (NOC), you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our transportation operations.

Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders, including Trans Carriers, Hubs, and Warehouses. You will also be responsible for resolving potential issues that may impact customer experience and business continuity.

You will work across two verticals: Inbound and Outbound operations. In Inbound, you will ensure that freight is picked up on time and delivered to Amazon fulfillment centers as per appointment. In Outbound, you will ensure that trucks leave the fulfillment center to deliver customer orders as promised.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to analyze data, notice trends, and drive customer experience without compromising on time. You should also have a basic understanding of logistics and be able to communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
