  • Platform Enhancements: Contribute to the planning for platform enhancements and new product implementations.
  • Performance Change Requests: Participate in the assessment of performance change requests.
  • Change Request Orchestration: Assist in the orchestration of change requests, coordinating with different teams and managing expectations.
  • Resource Planning: Contribute to resource planning and allocation within the data engineering team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including PMOs, development teams, and vendors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related challenges and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Participate in command center bridges for issue troubleshooting and resolution.
Requirements and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in the data management domain (BI, Data Engineering, and Governance), with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role. Strong experience in data management operations, including data pipelines, business intelligence, data quality, data catalog, master data management, big data, data virtualization, and data APIs. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of technical professionals. Experience in managing change requests and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of data platform maintenance and stability best practices. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Required Skills

Essential Skills: Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and methodologies, experience with DevOps practices and cloud computing concepts, knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools, experience working in a multicultural environment, fluency in English is a must, fluency in Arabic is a plus.
