About the Role
- Developing HSE Policies
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Deliver safety training and educational programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of safety-related documentation, reports, and statistics.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in HSE management.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are highly desirable.
