Job Description:

The role of a Laboratory Technician is pivotal in ensuring laboratory operations run smoothly and safely. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and storing chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to established safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Curate all laboratory materials from liquids to gases in appropriate storage compartments by following strict safety protocols.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain consistent records of logs, equipment, and other laboratory information.
  • Storage and Handling: Store all laboratory chemicals and gases while adhering to the lab's safety guidelines.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Autonomy and Pressure Tolerance: Demonstrate ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Laboratory Expertise: Proven track record of working on electrical and analog laboratory tools and equipment.
  • Organizational Ability: Exhibit exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to plan and share data on progress.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a high-level understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly high-voltage systems.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills with an interest in working with mechanical and electric vehicle systems.

Required Certifications and Experience:

  1. Certification Diploma: Technical certification diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI or equivalent.
  2. EV Level 3/4 Certification: IMI EV Level 3 or 4 – Advantage/Priority.
  3. Master Technician Certificate: Master Technician certification or industry equivalent.
  4. EV Components Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience of EV components and systems, both high and low voltage.
  5. Diagnostic Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician, preferably in retail automotive settings.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driving License: Must have a valid KSA driving license.
