Overview

Abacus Technology is a leading provider of technology solutions to the US government, seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality assurance for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality assurance support for 26 NOS.
  • Validate and evaluate certification and knowledge appropriate with Security+, Remedy, MICT, IMDS, TODO, SAP, Performance Evaluations, Equipment Evaluation, ESD, Corrosion Prevention and Control Program, Local Work Card validation, Audits and Training.
  • Ensure compliance with checklists, appendices, local job guides, technical orders, operating instructions and guidance memorandums.
  • Conduct monthly inspections using QA PMI checklist and document findings on equipment managed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in quality assurance for IT programs.
  • A HS diploma or GED.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality programs like verification and validation, configuration management, ISO certification, total quality management, QA, QC and continuous improvement.
  • Coordination with program/project managers to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction.
  • Analysis of business processes and tracking data to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Developing reports to recommend changes to improve processes and trend analysis of program issues.
  • Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.

This role requires a US citizen and a current Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
