Key Accountabilities
  • Directing, leading, and managing the RFFS at the airport and its associated personnel.
  • Ensuring that all RFFS KPIs meet operational requirements for the Airport Category.
  • Developing and implementing effective emergency response plans and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Degree in a fire/rescue related subject or equivalent certifications is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have held a position as an Airport Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, or Station Manager at an International Airport.
  • Fluent English communication skills in both oral and written formats are required.
  • Necessary leadership and managerial skills to manage a large organization are essential.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-stress situations and meet the requirements of current aviation medical standards is necessary.
  • A thorough knowledge of ICAO and Airport Emergency Planning regulations is required, along with experience of strategic planning and project management.
