Dietitian - Nutrition Therapist

Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Madinah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and care to patients, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

1. Nutrition Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough nutritional screenings and assessments for patients on therapeutic diets, ensuring timely and accurate identification of nutritional needs.
2. Collaboration and Communication: Discuss patient cases and food-drug interactions with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals as needed, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
3. Nutrition Support and Education: Evaluate the appropriateness of enteral nutrition support, including energy, protein, and fluid provision, and provide education to patients, families, and staff as needed.
4. Care Plan Development and Implementation: Develop and implement nutrition care plans, monitor patient response, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
5. Discharge Planning and Outpatient Services: Provide inpatient discharge diet instructions and cover outpatient dietitian clinics, assessing nutritional status and developing care plans.
6. Menu Planning and Approval: Participate in the approval and modification of diets on the menu, ensuring that nutritional needs are met and patient preferences are considered.
7. Professional Development and Teamwork: Attend department meetings and clinical dietitian meetings, staying up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
8. Quality Assurance and Safety: Ensure that all work procedures are safe and compliant with hospital policies and procedures, reporting any safety issues to the concerned department for correction.

• Education and Experience: B.S. in Medical Nutrition Therapy with one year internship or its equivalent.
• Language: Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
• Required Licenses/Registrations: Saudi Council and Professional License.
