Landscape Architect Specialist

Citiscape LLC is a leading organization in landscape engineering, seeking an experienced professional to lead our team.

We are looking for a talented Landscape Architect Specialist to design and manage the development of functional, visually appealing, and eco-friendly outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscape design principles, construction methods, and materials, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Create detailed design plans for diverse outdoor spaces, such as public parks, commercial properties, and private residences.
• Ensure all design proposals comply with land use and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, integrating these into the design.
• Conduct evaluations of existing structures, terrain, and natural features that influence the design.
• Develop comprehensive design proposals, including reports, cost estimates, illustrations, and models, and present them for client approval.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of approved designs, visiting sites regularly to confirm adherence to specifications. They will also work closely with project managers, construction supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project completion.

• Experience: 3-5 years in landscape design, engineering, or construction.
• Proven Success: Demonstrated history of successfully completing landscape projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Drainage and Grading Knowledge: Strong understanding of drainage systems, grading, and stormwater management.
• Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Landscape Architect (L.A.) certification preferred.
