IT Manager

Riverside Enterprises, a leading industrial and manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Leading the IT department and managing a team of professionals.
2. Providing timely and accurate reporting on IT services and issues to senior management.
3. Ensuring the availability of company systems to assigned users.
4. Maintaining hardware and software to meet corporate needs.
5. Protecting company information systems, communication lines, and equipment from security threats.
6. Overseeing the development and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems.
7. Developing and reviewing backup and disaster recovery procedures.
8. Assessing current and future technology needs and planning for short and long-term projects.
9. Establishing IT departmental operating metrics, staffing needs, budgeting, and vendor selection.
10. Ensuring corporate IT systems are protected by valid anti-virus software and firewalls.
11. Reviewing and updating the corporate IT security policy.
12. Designing reports and implementing paperless operations.
13. Ensuring delivered services meet output specifications and service response times.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. 5-7 years of experience in an IT managerial role.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Advanced skills in programming, particularly FoxPro.
4. Knowledge of medium to large size company IT operational systems.
5. Experience interfacing into a new MIS.
6. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
7. Strong business judgment, analysis, and organizational development skills.
8. Ability to develop and implement efficient operational processes and procedures.
9. A self-starter with initiative and drive, possessing broad relevant technical knowledge and good management expertise.
10. Strong ability to multi-task and troubleshoot multiple problems simultaneously.
11. Experience in end-user troubleshooting and support.
12. Able to work under pressure and meet agreed time frames.
13. Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia is an asset.
