Job Summary:

The Supply Chain and Procurement Manager at DADCO will oversee the procurement and distribution of materials specific to DADCO's operations, including raw materials, equipment, and supplies. This role will be responsible for sourcing and procuring all DADCO requirements related to stationery, maintenance parts, and any supplies or services needed for the main office building. The role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and the continuous supply of high-quality materials and services to support all facets of DADCO's business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Train, mentor the supply chain and procurement team, focusing on DADCO-specific materials and requirements.
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, task allocation, and workflow management across the supply chain and purchasing functions.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that aligns with DADCO's corporate culture and values.
  1. Procurement of DADCO Materials and Office Supplies:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for DADCO-specific materials, including raw materials, equipment, and specialized supplies necessary for operations.
  • Oversee the procurement of all DADCO requirements, including stationery, maintenance parts, and other office building necessities.
  • Assess supplier profiles, negotiate contracts, and analyze offers to ensure they meet DADCO's quality standards and cost objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to contractual terms.
  1. Operational Efficiency and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with DADCO's policies and industry standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance data.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to DADCO's procurement and supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes, particularly in relation to DADCO's specific materials and office needs.
  1. Market Research and Vendor Management:
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about trends, pricing, and new suppliers relevant to DADCO's materials and office requirements.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance market knowledge and build relationships with potential suppliers.
  • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet DADCO's standards for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  1. Facility and Maintenance Supply Management:
  • Coordinate the procurement of maintenance parts and services for DADCO's facilities, ensuring that all equipment and infrastructure are adequately supported.
  • Oversee the purchasing of supplies and services necessary for the smooth operation of DADCO's main office building, including office furniture, IT equipment, and facility services.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and facilities management teams to ensure all supply needs are met promptly and cost-effectively.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels related to both DADCO's operational and office needs.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market research, particularly in areas that could improve DADCO's operational efficiency and cost management.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Extensive experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts, especially for industrial and office-related supplies.
  • Strong understanding of market research, procurement best practices, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, supply chain management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on DADCO's specific needs and materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
