Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional pediatric surgical care.
  • Offer expert consulting services as required.
  • Supervise fellowships, staff/assistant physicians, and residents in their roles.
  • Participate in educational activities, including the training and mentorship of residents and fellows in pediatric surgery.
  • Take part in administrative tasks, such as committee work.
  • Perform authorized procedures.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

Education and Background

  • Medical degree from a reputable institution.
  • Completion of required training in Pediatric Surgery.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling consultant requirements.
  • A recognized certificate from the Saudi commission.
  • Dataflow certification.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 3-4 years post-fellowship/board experience in Pediatric Surgery.
  • Member of the Saudi Board Council.

Languages

  • Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be advantageous.
