About the Job

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WHS Specialist to join our logistics and supply chain team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation and storage of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective safety protocols for warehouse operations, including loading and unloading of goods.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of warehouses and transportation equipment to identify potential hazards.
  3. Collaborate with site leaders and teams to promote a culture of safety and provide training and guidance on safety protocols.
  4. Analyze incident data and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  5. Partner with procurement to ensure that all equipment and machinery meet safety standards.
  6. Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
