Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Government Relationship Manager to join our team at SANY Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key government officials, regulators, and relevant public institutions.

The Government Relationship Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations, facilitating smooth communication, and advocating for our company's interests in dealings with public authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Government Relations Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, regulators, and relevant public institutions.

  • Act as a liaison between the company and government agencies, representing our organization's interests in meetings, discussions, and negotiations.

Policy Analysis and Compliance

  • Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and initiatives to anticipate any potential impacts on our business.

  • Ensure our company's activities comply with local laws, including labor, environmental, and business regulations.

Public Affairs and Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic government relations plan to enhance our company's presence and influence within government circles.

  • Coordinate with government entities on corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and any other partnerships.

Negotiation and Documentation

  • Lead negotiations with government agencies on regulatory matters, permits, licenses, and other agreements.

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements between the company and government bodies.

Reporting and Coordination

  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on government-related issues and the status of ongoing projects.

Requirements:
  1. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role. Prior experience working with government agencies in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian regulatory and political environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within government and regulatory bodies.

  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
