Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Planning and Estimating: Develop and implement cost plans and estimates for our clients' projects, ensuring that they are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Cost Control and Management: Manage the cost of our clients' projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Develop and manage tender documents, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and contractual documents.
  • Post-Contract Cost Management: Manage post-contract cost variances and the change control process, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular cost reports to our clients, ensuring that they are informed of any changes or issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of cost managers, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: A recognized degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and MRICS accreditation or similar.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in cost management, with a strong background in quantity surveying and cost estimating.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
