Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large teams and have a strong background in underwriting and reinsurance.   • Lead the underwriting function with clear accountability over operational and strategic priorities
  • Manage the Reinsurance function and maintain follow-up with the reinsurance team
  • Set objectives and strategies for the Technical & Operations department
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline internal operations and optimize strategic benefits

In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including Heads of Claims, Chief Commercial Officers, Reinsurance Managers, and Actuaries, to achieve both growth and profitability objectives. Your expertise in risk assessment, financial modeling, and negotiation will be invaluable assets to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company in interactions with regulatory authorities, customers, auditors, rating agencies, and other external parties as needed
  • Ensure timely reporting and submission to regulatory authorities and related liaison with Compliance
  • Nurture and develop the team with a focus on productivity
  • Perform root cause analysis in liaison with the Chief Commercial Officer on trends like low quotation conversion to policy issuance or with the Production team on policy issuance turnaround time
