Your Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct research in climate and sustainability, focusing on the development of novel methods and techniques for data analysis and modeling.
- Collaborate with our team of experts to design and implement research projects, leveraging your expertise in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
- Develop and maintain complex software systems, including data engineering and machine learning models.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in climate and atmospheric sciences, remote sensing research, and computational mathematics.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hold a Doctoral degree in Physical or Atmospheric or Computer Science, or Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a related field with significant programming experience.
- Demonstrate research proficiency based on the scientific method, with a strong ability to define research questions, formulate hypotheses, and develop innovative solutions.
- Be familiar with state-of-the-art programming practices, data science, and machine learning methods, including their implementation.
- Have experience with deep learning, transformer models, and computational mathematics.
