Job Title: Safety Instrumented Systems Engineer

Eram Talent is seeking a skilled Safety Instrumented Systems Engineer to ensure the safety and reliability of industrial processes and operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate SIS analysis and development and assurance activities.
  • Monitor SIS Management Process.
  • Monitor SIS Performance.
  • SIS Analysis and Development.
  • SIF pro database management.
  • Populate the SIF pro database.
  • Facilitate SIF Analysis and Design.
  • Quality control of analysis and results.
  • Generate SIS Reports and Recommendations.
  • Manage handover to action owners of SIS recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance to IEC61511/61508 standards and all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls meeting statutory regulations and international standards.
  • Be a team member of all SIL Studies for new projects.
  • Interface and interact with Process Safety group in all areas of Process Safety and Risk Management.
  • Identify the degree of compliance and level of necessary improvement required for MARAFIQ Power plan Instrument Protective Functions.
  • Monitor and update IPF recommendation tracking system.
Requirements:
  • University Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years' experience working in a Reliability Engineering Department in heavy industrial or utilities plant.
  • 3-4 years' experience in Engineer, Safety Instrumented System function assessment and design.
  • Experience of Reliability Engineering using SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems.
