Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Asterix Communications. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering services that meet our, our customers', and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate, manage, and if required supervise civil engineering project requirements.
- Perform civil engineering services such as participating in relevant meetings, preparing progress reports, and following required checking procedures.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Act as the civil engineering Lead on specific projects.
- Assign tasks and supervise progress if responsible for a team.
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between our and our Customer's requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in civil engineering.
- Assist and support junior personnel within the civil engineering team.
- Communicate effectively with the civil engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
A recognized and relevant engineering degree is required. Preferred: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status. Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management, or supervisory qualifications or equivalent are also desirable.
