Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and service issues, applying advanced analytical skills and technical expertise.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Automate tasks using Ansible, shell scripting, or Python to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure systems are protected and compliant with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed system documentation, SOPs, and technical diagrams to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd level support for Linux and storage infrastructure, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing Red Hat Linux environments, with a strong understanding of system internals, user management, and network services.
  • Hands-on experience with Pure Storage solutions, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including file systems, permissions, and user authentication.
  • Experience with monitoring and automation tools, such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues.
