Job Overview

iDD Trading seeks a seasoned maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of our resort facilities and farm operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supervising maintenance teams, with a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance plan for all resort facilities and farm equipment, including wells, pumps, greenhouses, electrical systems, air conditioning units, generators, irrigation systems, buildings, and guest areas. Conduct regular inspections and replace worn-out parts before they cause failures.
  • Irrigation and Water System Management: Supervise the automatic irrigation system, water tanks, and distribution systems to ensure a continuous water supply for agriculture and resort landscaping.
  • Building and Facilities Maintenance: Ensure all resort accommodations, rest areas, recreational spaces, and guest facilities are well-maintained, clean, and functional.
  • Air Conditioning (AC) Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repairs of AC units across the farm and resort to guarantee guest comfort.
  • Generator Maintenance: Ensure proper operation, servicing, and fuel management of the farm & resort's backup generator for uninterrupted power supply.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Supervision: Oversee the farm's electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, diagnosing and resolving faults in a timely manner.
  • Fountain and Decorative Systems Management: Supervise the maintenance and operation of fountains, pools, and decorative water features to enhance the resort's aesthetic appeal.
  • Groundskeeping and Landscaping Support: Coordinate with gardening and landscaping teams to maintain the resort's outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain clean and visually appealing.
  • Guest and Event Support: Provide maintenance assistance for special events, VIP stays, or private gatherings at the resort, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Team Supervision: Manage a team of maintenance workers, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of all repair and maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, with experience in farm, resort, or hospitality maintenance.
  • Certifications: Diploma or Technical Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Facility Management is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a maintenance team.
