Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered by our factory-managed parts suppliers.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Resolving complex manufacturing process, quality and reliability issues with suppliers
  • Developing and implementing quality programs to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Conducting supplier audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement
  • Driving improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance overall quality and reliability

Responsibilities:

In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, you will also:

  • Provide technical and systems support related to quality systems and technical product-related issues
  • Develop and deploy relevant tools and activities across the organization as needed
  • Initiate regular assessments and reviews of IQC inspection specifications taking into account recent performance of the material part
  • Work with the appropriate Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) to drive improvement of incoming material quality

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant working experience in Engineering/Quality or equivalent
  • Familiarization with supplier auditing and development
  • Experience with ISO9000/MSA, MIL1916/105E, ANSI, etc. sampling plan, AQL implemented
  • Able to use Minitab or any SPC tools to perform data analysis and interpret the result
  • Experience of using Lean Six Sigma tools: Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiment (DOE), Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GRR), Process Capability Index (CPK)
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with suppliers to solve product problems
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
