As a seasoned professional in airport baggage and cargo handling systems, you will play a crucial role in implementing and completing projects according to customer order conditions and defined project management standards. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering contractually stipulated performance, quality, and scope within target dates and costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical, operational, and financial project tasks for successfully implementing airport baggage/cargo handling systems.
  • Develop project parameters and monitor progress, tracking key milestones and reporting on project status to stakeholders using various tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and risk logs, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to project team members.
  • Interact with clients and interpret their needs and requirements.
  • Identify project risks and issues, assess their potential impact, and work with the Project Team and other functions to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Recognize opportunities for process improvement within the project management framework and collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices.
  • Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, and reports on the project's status.
  • Collaborate with internal disciplines such as engineering, procurement, QHSE, contract management, and other internal cross-functional teams to create more efficient project execution methods and enhance the project's profitability.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring alignment of project objectives and priorities.
  • Engage with subcontractors to monitor and control their performance.
  • Establish frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
  • Evaluate the project's compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
