Job Description:

The Head of Security and Compliance will be responsible for leading the Security Team to achieve objectives and ensuring effective security performance across the business. The successful candidate will develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Company (Air Sector and Group) security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance on all aspects of security, including risk management, compliance and security governance.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Company (Air Sector and Group) security requirements.
  • Provide specialist advice to senior leadership team and programmes/functions on security matters.
  • Maintain relationships with HMG and KSA national security agencies to ensure cooperation and collaboration on security issues.
  • Manage security assessments and reviews of operations/locations as required by Company (Air and Group), HMG and Saudi Arabian Government (SAG) policies and directives.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with experience in a security related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years providing security leadership and advice to projects in the UK or FIVE EYES government sector (or commercial organisations bound by HMG security standards).
  • Experience of working in a diverse multicultural environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HMG and industry standard security policies, standards and good practice.
  • A thorough knowledge of HMG/SAG/defence industry security policies and indicative procedures.
