Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Cost Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage the measurement, estimation, and payment valuation of construction projects;
  • To prepare and present detailed cost plans and schedules;
  • To advise on contractual matters related to financial issues;
  • To ensure the accuracy and completeness of all contractual requirements;
  • To provide guidance on procurement strategies and tactics;
  • To identify, analyse, and respond to commercial risks;
  • To prepare and analyse costings for tenders;
  • To maintain accurate records and generate reports as required;
  • To work closely with other departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in the Gulf region;
  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor status, preferably with RICS certification;
  • Strong knowledge of cost management principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other construction-related software;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
