Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Botanist to join our team for a period of 4-6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive tree survey, including data collection and tagging/retagging of trees. The survey will generate a detailed inventory of date palms, native, and exotic trees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, using risk management and personal protective equipment.
2. Participate in tree tagging activities, collecting data from approximately 27,000 trees.
3. Review and verify data collected in the field app to ensure accuracy and calibration.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Botany, Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.

Essential Skills:

1. Strong English communication skills.
2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
3. Willingness to work in the field 5 days a week.
4. No prior experience is required.
