About the Job:

KBR, Inc is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Designer to join our team and work on designing substations, transmission, and distribution systems for clients in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon, and/or infrastructure industries.

Main Tasks:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting plant and facility layout coordination
  • Developing area classifications drawings
  • Creating equipment layouts
  • Developing physical design drawings (grounding/earthing, lighting protection, lighting voltage drop calculations, AG Power & Control, UG Cable/conduit, cable tray designs, etc)
  • Developing LV/MV schematics

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification and at least 15 years' experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects.

They will also have excellent knowledge and understanding of design practices, construction practices, and procedures, as well as proficiency in Microstation.
