Asterix Communications Seeks Instrumentation Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled Instrumentation Specialist to join our team in a challenging role based in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating within our Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The Instrumentation Specialist will have the opportunity to lead and manage engineer-grade instrument personnel, delegating tasks and activities to support personnel as needed. The Specialist will work under the supervision of a Senior Instrumentation Specialist, with responsibilities delegated accordingly.

Key Requirements:
  1. At least Eight (8) years of experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects, with a strong background in DCS systems.
  2. Proven experience in PMC roles, preferably in similar positions, is highly desirable.
  3. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is a significant advantage.
  4. Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
  5. Proficiency in all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
