Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior/HSE Officer to review, evaluate, and analyze work environments, design programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and ergonomic factors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections, report unsafe conditions and acts to supervisors and top management
  • Report safety observations through our HSE Dashboard (Management System Tool)
  • Support Project HSE Manager/Sr. Safety Officer in HSE Compliance, implement HSE Policy and programs
  • Supervise HSE for multiple subcontractors
  • Conduct toolbox talks and induction training
  • Daily workplace and equipment inspection
  • Assist in preparing JSA and risk assessments
  • Regular verification of work permits
  • Maintain HSE checklists and inspection records
  • Incident reporting, root cause investigation, and team communication
  • Implement project emergency response plan, fire and safety plan, and rescue plans
  • Assist HSE Manager in conducting internal audits
  • Area inspection before and after critical activities
  • Maintain two-way communication with workers and management

The ideal candidate has at least 4-8 years of HSE experience in the GCC, additional certificate courses such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA etc. related to Health & Safety are recommended.
