Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced anesthesiologist to join our team as a Senior Registrar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading the department's quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior staff members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesiology, excellent leadership skills, and be fluent in English. They will also possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be knowledgeable about medical by-laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer anesthesia using full range of anesthetic agents, methods, and techniques.
  2. Provide consultation to patients and ensure informed consent prior to anesthesia administration.
  3. Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
  4. Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals.
  6. Develop and implement effective patient education programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • American Board or Canadian Fellowship, or FFARCS/FRCA, or Equivalent.
  • Higher qualifications in his specialty, if any.
  • Minimum three (3) years (Saudi Council) and five (5) years (hospital) experience Post Qualification.
