Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Financial Consultant to join our team at SSC Egypt. As an Oracle Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring Oracle Financial applications to meet the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Requirements Gathering

Conduct thorough business requirements sessions with clients to understand their financial needs and objectives.

  • Functional Specifications

Analyze the business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications that meet the client's needs.

  • Application Configuration

Configure Oracle Financial applications to meet the client's requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other financial modules.

  • Account Reconciliation and Period Closing

Assist in account reconciliation and period closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Integration with Legacy Systems

Assist in building integration with legacy systems, ensuring smooth data exchange and minimal disruption to business operations.

  • User Training and Support

Train end-users on how to use Oracle Financial applications and provide ongoing support to ensure effective adoption and utilization.

  • Language and Communication

Must be able to communicate fluently in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Highly analytical and problem-solving skills are required to resolve complex issues surrounding business processes and technical challenges.

  • Time Management and Prioritization

Ability to prioritize time and tasks effectively, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Technical Skills

Basic technical skills including SQL and PL-SQL, with experience in Oracle e-Business financial modules.

  • Implementation Experience

At least 2 full cycle implementation projects with Oracle, with expertise in implementation, enhancement, and support activities within Oracle e-Business Environment.

  • Oracle e-Business Financial Modules

Experience in Oracle e-Business financial modules, including:

  • AP: Workbench details, setups, configurations, key reports analysis
  • GL: Configuration and setting up
  • Awareness of the key features provided by Oracle GL like revaluation, consolidation, translation, and allocations.
  • Budgets: Creation, uploading, updating, and control.
  • AR: End-to-end awareness of Order to Cash Cycle.
  • Key functionalities of auto accounting, lock box process, auto invoice interface generation, and creation of statements.
  • Cash Management: Bank reconciliation processes, manual and automating cash forecasting procedures dependency on other financial modules.
  • Fixed Assets: Asset creation process, manual and automatic, awareness of asset category definitions, depreciation rule, methods, etc.
  • Creation of asset books and calendars.
  • Payroll: Payroll costing/accounting and integration with General Ledger.
  • Property Management: Applicability of IFRS standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Oracle Financial applications implementation, with a strong understanding of Oracle e-Business financial modules.
