Contract - SAP S4HANA Finance Lead in One of the Biggest SAP Implementation Programs in Riyadh KSA

The Role The Client and the Project:

This is a contract role initially for 8 months (potentially extendable for a longer term) working with a leading global consulting/SAP implementation partner for one of the biggest SAP implementation projects in the public sector in the KSA. The SAP implementation project and the public sector client is based in Riyadh KSA.

Job Responsibilities:

A successful candidate for this role shall be responsible for:

  • Overall lead of the SAP S/4HANA Finance Controlling Funds Management stream of the project including management of the project workstream activities and deliverables in all phases of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project from the project initiation/explore phase to golive and completion of the hypercare phase after the project golive;
  • Leading solution design build testing phases cutover/deployment activities and hypercare support activities in the SAP S/4HANA Finance Controlling and Funds Management stream of the project;
  • Active involvement in change management activities for a client to adopt maximum of SAP standard best practice processes and minimization of custom developments;
  • Planning and management the team of consultants involved in the SAP S/4HANA Finance Controlling and Funds Management project workstream;
  • Ensure the bestfitforpurpose integration of SAP FICO Funds Management with other SAP S/4HANA modules and processes and 3rdparty systems in accordance with the project scope;
  • Expert knowledge and handson implementation experience in all key areas of SAP Finance Controlling Funds Management Treasuryrelated Banks and Payments and Taxes;
  • Handson experience in development of Functional and Technical Specification Documentation for custom developments.

Requirements

A successful candidate for this role shall have the following knowledge and experience and the education background:

Bachelors Degree or a higherlevel education diploma/degree;
  • Minimum 10 years of SAP implementation experience (not SAP support SAP product management or other SAPrelated experience);
  • Minimum 4 or more successfully completed and fullcycle SAP implementation projects (from a project initiation/explore phases to golive and successful completion of hypercare support after golive);
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP Activate implementation methodology;
  • Expert knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Finance (including General Ledger Accounting/Multiple General Ledgers Accounts Payable Fixed Asset Accounting Banks and Payments Taxes) Public Sector Funds Management;
  • SAP Controlling including Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting Project Management solutions for CAPEX and other projects;
  • Previous experience of SAP implementation in public sector entities is an additional advantage;
  • Team Lead skills and experience;
  • Change Management experience;
  • Excellent communication experience.
