The purpose of the MCC Controller is to maximize aircraft availability, by coordinating all inputs and stakeholders, ensuring minimum disruption and performance of required maintenance, while ensuring a safe and airworthy operation.
- Ensures that the aircraft are released timely, airworthy and in a safe manner.
- Liaises closely with operations and CMO to ensure aircraft meet scheduled departures.
- Manages any AOG recovery with all internal and external stakeholders as necessary, including preparation of work orders, one-off authorization requests, etc., as appropriate.
- Maintains direct and real time communication with IOCC at ALL times
- Coordinates Aircraft Maintenance Schedule/ Operations Schedule, Base Maintenance and Line Stations to align aircraft for defect rectification.
- Liaises closely with Planning team and CMO to ensure that all planned maintenance is performed.
- Ensures that all daily activity and reports are maintained in line with the agreed procedures and to expected standards.
- Supports CMO and engineering department on interpretation of Maintenance Data and guidance for troubleshooting defects.
- Supports both Flight crew and contracted maintenance providers on the completion of the Technical Log, if necessary.
- Prepares daily critical and delay reports.
- Maintains the aircraft to agreed levels of deferred defects (MELs and NEFs).
- Manages and records/analyses all technical delays on the fleet to meet the KPI targets for TDR.
Minimum Level 3 AIRBUS A320/CFM56+LEAP 1A Training
Extensive knowledge of A320 Aircraft systems.
Advance level knowledge of GACA Regulations. (Preferred).
Bachelor's degree or Aircraft maintenance engineer Diploma.
A minimum of 7 years of aircraft certification experience, out of which, at least 5 years on A320 fleet.
A minimum of 3 years' of MCC experience.
. Monitoring and Managing Maintenance Operations:
Aircraft/Vehicle Maintenance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the condition of the fleet, identifying any maintenance needs and potential issues based on real-time data and reports from crew members or maintenance teams.
Track Maintenance Schedules: Ensure that scheduled maintenance and inspections are carried out on time, coordinating between operational departments and maintenance teams to ensure minimal disruptions to service.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or system-related issues that arise during operations and coordinate the response to resolve the issues as quickly and safely as possible.
Manage Unscheduled Maintenance: Coordinate unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring that repairs are done promptly to minimize downtime. This could include handling breakdowns, emergency repairs, or other unexpected maintenance needs.
