Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physician
  • Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging
  • Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection standards
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to discuss patient results and care plans
  • Educate patients about the imaging procedure to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation
Desired candidate profile

Valid radiologic technologist certification and state license
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and imaging software
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment, such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and related technologies.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to imaging.
Ability to position patients properly and adjust equipment settings to ensure high-quality images.
Knowledge of radiation safety practices and the ability to adhere to safety protocols.

Empathy and sensitivity to patients' needs, particularly when dealing with anxious or vulnerable individuals.
