We are looking for a Chief Accountant to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. This is a fulltime or parttime role. As a Chief Accountant you will oversee the financial
operations of the company ensuring compliance with accounting standards and
regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for financial reporting budgeting and
cost management while also leading and mentoring the accounting team.
Requirements Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and payroll.
- Prepare financial statements reports and forecasts in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Monitor cash flow budgeting and financial planning to optimize company resources.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws VAT regulations and financial policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits.
- Implement and improve financial controls policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for decisionmaking.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA CMA or ACCA certification is a plus).
- 5 years of experience in accounting preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS GAAP and local tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP QuickBooks Oracle or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
