Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Proven work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
Strong knowledge of database management systems and concepts (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Database Security Management
Ensure the security of the database by implementing access controls, encryption, and audit trails.
Define user roles and permissions to control access to sensitive data based on business needs.
Regularly monitor for unauthorized access or suspicious activity and address vulnerabilities or security risks.
Implement database security measures in compliance with industry standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
. Backup & Recovery Management
Develop and implement backup strategies to ensure that database data is regularly backed up and can be restored in case of system failure or data corruption.
Perform regular database backups and test recovery procedures to ensure data can be quickly and accurately restored.
Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and prevent data loss in the event of a system failure.
