The GSE and Tooling Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining ground support equipment (GSE) and tools to ensure they meet regulatory and safety standards. This role involves overseeing inventory, conducting maintenance, and ensuring availability to support aircraft operations. The position also includes liaising with regulatory authorities and coordinating compliance efforts while fostering collaboration with internal teams to maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all ground support equipment and tools.
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are in working condition and readily available to support aircraft maintenance and operations.
- Ensure all equipment and tools meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Prepare reports on equipment status, usage, and maintenance activities for management review.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and calibration cycle if required.
- Allocate tools and equipment based on planning and operational requirements.
- Maintain records of equipment usage through the AMOS system.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Respond to urgent requests for equipment and tool needs during operations.
- Communicate effectively with aviation authorities to address inquiries and provide requested information.
- Coordinate regulatory submissions, approvals, and responses to ensure timely and accurate communication with authorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with relevant industry associations and regulatory (GACA) bodies.
- Ensure that flyadeal policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support during regulatory audits and inspections, acting as a liaison between the airline and regulatory representatives.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by regulatory authorities.
An aviation-related diploma or a bachelor's degree in aviation management or any related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field of pilot training or an administrative role, preferably in the aviation industry.
Knowledge of GACAR regulations.
Experience operating NAV Blue system or related aviation systems.
Strong data management skills.
