Responding to staff enquiries on visa/labour/passport matters
Directs the preparation and maintenance of reports as are necessary to carry out the function of immigration. Prepares periodic reports for management or relevant authorities, as required
Monitors the implementation of an improvement process for all immigration& labour records to be tracked and maintained through the company system
Directs the preparation and maintenance with respect to visa documentation related to new starters, leavers, transfers and renewals
Organises attestation of certificates and legal translation of documents and other activities related to immigration and labour
Oversees the implementation of the immigration & labour responsibilities of the company in Saudi. Monitors administration to establish standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies
Provides advice to management on local and government services
Protect the interest of the company in accordance with governmental authorities, laws and regulation
Strengthen the relationship with public agencies through events engaging the community
Coordinate with outside counsel and third party vendors regarding immigration issues
Communicates with various government agencies for certification of documents and coordinates with third parties on documentation needs;
Other duties as requested from time to time
Government and Public Policy Advocacy:
Monitor Legislation and Policy Changes: Keep track of new laws, regulations, and government policies that could impact the organization's operations. This includes monitoring local, regional, and national legislative developments.
Advocate for the Organization's Interests: Represent the organization's views and interests to government officials, legislators, and regulators. Advocate for policies that align with the organization's goals and business objectives.
Prepare Policy Briefs and Position Papers: Develop clear, concise policy briefs and position papers on key issues to influence government decision-makers. These documents outline the organization's stance and provide evidence to support the organization's viewpoint.
Lobbying: Actively participate in lobbying efforts to influence legislation or government regulations in favor of the organization's interests.
Educated Bachelor degree
3 -5 years local experience liaising with Immigration, Labour department and other government departments for all employee affairs
Good knowledge of Saudi labour and immigration rules
Good communication skills
Good command of English and Arabic both oral and written
Excellent problem solving and quality control skills;
Excellent customer service skills
Proactive and responsible
Cooperative
Computer skills (Microsoft office)
Building and Maintaining Government Relationships:
Cultivate Relationships with Policymakers: Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with government officials, regulators, and policymakers at various levels of government (local, state, federal).
Networking: Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, public hearings, and forums, where they can interact with government officials, industry peers, and advocacy groups to further the organization's interests.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with industry associations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to build coalitions that support or oppose specific government actions.

Ensure Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the organization complies with all applicable government regulations and industry standards.
Provide Guidance on Regulatory Issues: Advise the organization's leadership and departments on government regulations and legal matters related to government actions or policies. This could involve interpreting complex laws and providing strategic recommendations.
Coordinate with Legal and Compliance Teams: Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to address any regulatory concerns and ensure the organization is prepared for audits or government investigations.
