Roles and responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams to define project vision and establish timelines
Develop storyboards and project plans that effectively communicate the project vision
Create 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that align with branding guidelines
Utilize After Effects, Premiere, and other software to design and animate visual elements
Evaluate design concepts using creative tools and software before presenting to management or clients
Incorporate stakeholder feedback into final design and ensure designs are finalized and approved within established timelines
Keep up to date with current trends in motion graphics and implement them regularly to keep projects fresh and visually engaging
Motion Graphics Design:
Create Motion Graphics: Design and animate 2D and 3D graphics, including logos, icons, typography, transitions, and special effects to enhance the storytelling of a project.
Visual Storytelling: Utilize motion graphics to visually communicate complex ideas, narratives, and brand messages in an engaging and clear way.
Animation: Develop smooth and compelling animations that support the overall aesthetic of a project, ensuring they align with the creative direction.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Lead Design Teams: As a senior-level position, you will lead and mentor junior designers, offering creative guidance and ensuring the consistency and quality of the motion graphics across the project.
Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their creative vision, provide expertise on visual approaches, and deliver high-quality designs that meet their needs and expectations.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with video editors, sound designers, and creative directors to ensure the motion graphics align with other media elements and contribute to the overall creative vision of the project.
. Creative Direction:
Conceptualization and Ideation: Develop creative concepts and ideas for motion graphics, translating client briefs into actionable designs. Oversee the creative process from ideation to final execution.
Style and Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the visual style of motion graphics in line with the brand's identity and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all media.
Visual Design Direction: Provide design direction, ensuring high standards of visual aesthetics, color schemes, and typography in all motion graphics.

Desired candidate profile

A bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related fields
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere
Experience with 3D animation software such as Maya or Cinema 4D
A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in motion graphics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with all teams
Strong attention to detail and adherence to project timelines
Advanced Design Skills: Expertise in visual design principles such as typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
Animation Expertise: Strong proficiency in both 2D and 3D animation, with an understanding of timing, movement, and visual storytelling.
Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative and compelling motion graphics that align with the client's vision and project goals.
Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to lead and inspire a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a creative, collaborative work environment.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail in creating pixel-perfect graphics and animations that meet high-quality standards.
Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects with varying timelines, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality.
Adaptability: Flexibility in adapting to changing project requirements and client feedback, with the ability to quickly pivot and adjust designs.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with clients, present ideas, explain design choices, and collaborate with other team members.
