Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity GRC Specialist to establish and maintain an effective cybersecurity governance risk management and compliance framework within the organization. The role is pivotal in ensuring alignment with industry standards regulatory requirements and internal policies.

This role is based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and requires collaboration with crossfunctional teams and key stakeholders to uphold cybersecurity excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Governance and Compliance

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity governance frameworks policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with cybersecurity laws regulations and frameworks such as NCA ISO 27001 and GDPR.
  • Conduct internal compliance reviews to identify gaps and areas requiring improvement.

Risk Management

  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments to identify assess and prioritize risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks to mitigate identified risks effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies controls and action plans.

Awareness and Training

  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs to promote best practices among employees.

Technology Implementation

  • Implement and manage GRC tools to streamline and automate governance risk and compliance processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in cybersecurity risk management information systems or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity GRC risk management or compliance roles.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP CISM or CRISC are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST ISO 27001 and NCA controls.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in the IT industry delivering cloud solutions.
