Roles and responsibilities

Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneer in the entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a meticulous and driven individual to join our team as the Manager - IT Quality Assurance. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance processes that ensure the reliability and performance of our IT systems and applications.

Responsibilities

Developing Quality Assurance Policies: Implement and follow QA policies and procedures to ensure product quality
Conducting Audits: Regularly conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
Managing QA Team: Lead and manage the QA team, including raining, and performance evaluations.
Analyzing Data: Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as IT Infrastructure and IT Operations, to ensure quality standards are met.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve quality issues promptly to minimize impact on production and customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas
Quality Assurance Strategy Development
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes for IT projects, software, and systems.
Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define quality goals, standards, and performance metrics for IT products.
Ensure alignment of QA processes with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Establish testing methodologies and frameworks to be used across various IT projects, such as agile testing, automation, and manual testing.
Team Management and Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and testers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages continuous learning, process improvement, and innovation.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills, experience, and project requirements.
Promote the importance of quality assurance across the organization and advocate for best practices.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
6+ years of experience in IT quality assurance
Experience with automation testing tools, frameworks, and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ensure all testing processes and practices comply with industry standards
Test Planning and Execution
Oversee the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications, user requirements, and use cases.
Ensure the thorough execution of functional, performance, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Supervise the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts to streamline the QA process and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure that test plans and processes cover all aspects of the product.
Quality Assurance Process Improvement
Continuously assess and improve QA processes, workflows, and tools to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify bottlenecks, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in the current QA process and implement corrective actions.
Stay updated on new tools, technologies, and methodologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
Promote automation of repetitive and time-consuming tasks to improve the testing cycle time and product delivery speed.
