IT Strategy and Governance
Develop IT Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the organization's IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals. Ensure that the IT roadmap supports and enhances business operations and growth.
Technology Innovation: Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and trends that can improve business operations, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
IT Policies and Governance: Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization to ensure that technology solutions are secure, compliant, and efficient.
Cybersecurity Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT security policies to protect the organization from cyber threats, data breaches, and other security risks.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead IT Teams: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, developers, engineers, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Recruitment and Training: Hire, train, and develop IT staff to ensure that the department has the necessary skills to meet the organization's technology needs.
Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback to IT team members.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, marketing, and operations, to understand their technology needs and ensure that IT systems support their goals.
IT Infrastructure and Systems Management
Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the management and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, and data storage.
System Integration: Ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and IT systems into the organization's existing infrastructure, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring that contracts, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and deliverables are met.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure that IT systems remain operational in case of emergencies.

Desired candidate profile

Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field
4 years' related experience with computer set-up and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of networks, operating systems, and databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge in PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards)
Great communication skills
You'll be a team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure
Budgeting and Cost Management
IT Budget: Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that costs are controlled.
Cost Efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost savings through the optimization of IT systems, processes, and technologies, while maintaining high levels of service and security.
Resource Allocation: Ensure that appropriate resources (staff, software, hardware, etc.) are allocated to IT projects and operations.
Project Management and Implementation
IT Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Project Prioritization: Work with senior management to prioritize IT projects based on business needs, available resources, and strategic importance.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts for new IT systems and technology implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations during transitions.
Data Management and Analytics
Data Governance: Establish and enforce policies related to data management, privacy, and security to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics tools to provide insights and support decision-making across the organization. Collaborate with other departments to analyze data trends and business metrics.
